We are 1506 Metal Muscle, a community FRC team based in Flint, Michigan. We started as a tiny team working out of a closet in 2005. Struggling to survive for the first 10 years, we were reborn, united in our goal to improve the community. We began by working with Kettering University to build a world class FIRST Robotics Community Center (the first of its kind) which opened in 2014. The center currently houses 8 teams, with 1506 as the anchor. Our mission is to enhance the culture of our community by giving families the opportunity to experience and appreciate STEM. We do this by transforming our students into passionate innovators, providing our community a taste of STEM and expanding and enhancing FIRST.
